So I built the framework I couldn't find.

Twelve years of clinical practice. A doctoral research body rooted in consciousness science, biofield research, and the mechanisms of intergenerational healing. A specialty in earth medicine and psychedelic-assisted therapy, and a daily life as a wife to my best friend and homeschooling mother of five under eight, where every principle I teach is tested in real time, in a real family field, before it ever reaches a client.

What I kept seeing across every clinical room, every modality, every well-intentioned approach was the same gap: an industry built on helping people become more articulate about their suffering rather than giving them the tools to compost it. Family Mycology™ exists because that gap demanded a framework, and no one had built it yet — one that treats the family as the living intelligence field it actually is, reads the patterns surfacing in that field as information rather than pathology, and restores coherence at the root rather than managing symptoms at the surface.

What is Family Mycology™?

Family Mycology™ is a transdisciplinary healing framework built on one clinical conviction: the family is a living intelligence field, and every symptom arising in any of its members is information from that field — not a problem located in an individual. Healing happens at the field level, or it doesn't hold. The framework draws from consciousness science, mycology, family systems theory, biofield research, somatic practice, and psychedelic-assisted therapy — six disciplines that each provide a precise mechanism, not a loose inspiration.

After over 12 years as a licensed therapist, I woke up to a startling gap.

The very systems designed to help were keeping people hypnotized — locked in the endless retelling of trauma stories, reinforcing fragmented identities, and normalizing a cycle of perpetual analysis without resolution. An industry addressing symptoms of anxiety, depression, addiction, and marital strain in an environmental and spiritual vacuum, without ever asking what field had produced them or what field they were returning to at the end of every session. The creative power people brought into those rooms was being spent on articulating the wound, not composting it.

The turn came when I recognized that the family field is not a context for healing — it is the unit of healing. That beneath every individual pattern lies a relational architecture, and beneath every relational architecture lies a field that has been transmitting the same frequency across generations, waiting for someone in the lineage with enough capacity and enough tools to read it, honor it, and consciously redirect it. Family Mycology™ is the framework I built in response to that recognition — and my own family of seven is the living proof of concept, the first field I work in every single day before I work in anyone else's.

Fifteen years of studying the body have made one thing clear: beneath the psychological stories lies a physical and energetic architecture — fascia holding what the mind has not yet metabolized, bloodlines carrying what has never been acknowledged, nervous systems wired to a frequency that was set long before this lifetime. It is within the web of our relations that the clearing must happen, because it is within the web of our relations that the patterns were originally encoded. This is where the work lives, and this is where it changes.

The mission is to unlock the channel of love in the lineage — to show parents how to become the adults, capable and expansive and genuinely rooted, who can hold an epigenetic environment strong enough to receive their children's wildest, most coherent expressions of who they actually are. Not the parent who manages the child. The parent who tends the field the child grows in.

This work moves through embodied mentorship, research-grounded teaching, and transformational containers that meet the family as a whole system — not a collection of individuals to be processed one by one. It is not just clinical. It is ethical. It is legacy work. It is how the flow of life force is restored in a lineage — for the woman doing the work, for the children watching her do it, and for the generations who will never know her name but will carry the frequency she chose to become.

The medicine bag is full — twelve years of clinical practice, fifteen years of body study, a doctoral research body, ceremonial training, a deep personal relationship with earth medicine, and five children who have never let me confuse the theory with the practice. Everything I teach has been tested in my own field before it ever enters a client's.

Family Mycology™ integrates consciousness science, mycology, family systems theory, biofield research, somatic practice, and psychedelic-assisted therapy into a single coherent model. The clinical logic: the family is a living intelligence field, and every symptom arising in any of its members is information from that field — not a problem located in an individual. Healing happens at the field level, or it doesn't hold.

The model

The mycorrhizal network is not a metaphor. It is a biological analog.

The mycorrhizal network — the underground fungal web connecting forest trees — does not fix individual trees. It restores the conditions in which every tree can access what it needs: nutrients, water, chemical signals, defense compounds. The network is the health. Remove it and even robust trees begin to decline. Restore it and trees that appeared beyond recovery begin to regenerate.

The same logic applies to the family. Conventional therapeutic approaches treat the symptomatic member in isolation — the anxious child, the disconnected spouse, the dysregulated parent — while the field in which they are all embedded goes unaddressed. Family Mycology™ reads the root network first. Every symptom is a communication from the field. The work is to restore the conditions for coherence, not to manage the symptoms of its absence.

Decomposition is not failure. It is transformation that hasn't been named yet. The mycelium composts what the forest no longer needs and returns it as nutrition. This is the clinical logic of Family Mycology™.

In the forest
The mycorrhizal network distributes resources to the trees that need them most — including struggling seedlings that cannot yet photosynthesize enough to sustain themselves. The network decides. The network holds.
In the family
The child who is acting out, the parent who is withdrawing, the marriage that has gone cold — these are not individual failures. They are field communications. The network is telling you where the coherence has been interrupted.
The clinical implication
You cannot permanently heal a family member by treating only that member. The field must be addressed — its patterns read, its distortions composted, its coherence restored. This is the work of Family Mycology™.

The family field is a measurable, shiftable biofield. Coherence is not a feeling — it is a physiological state that can be cultivated, tracked, and transmitted. Heart-brain coherence, field entrainment, and the science of intention are the clinical tools.

Mycology
The mycorrhizal network provides the biological analog for distributed family intelligence — not metaphor but model. Fungal decomposition biology provides the clinical logic for how distortion patterns are composted rather than suppressed in the healing process.

Family Systems Theory
Constellation principles, Bowen family systems, and intergenerational transmission provide the structural map of how patterns travel across generations — who is excluded, who is carrying what, and what the field is asking to be acknowledged.

Biofield Science
The human biofield — the electromagnetic and subtle energy field generated by and surrounding the body — is the medium through which family field transmission occurs. Every nervous system in a household is in continuous communication through this field.

Somatic Practice
The body is the instrument through which field coherence is experienced, lost, and restored. Nervous system regulation, fascia work, embodied discernment, and somatic attunement are not supplementary to the clinical work — they are the mechanism through which lasting change is anchored.

Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy
Earth medicine and psychedelic-assisted therapy provide accelerated access to the somatic and relational patterns that conventional therapy approaches slowly and incompletely. Used within the Family Mycology™ framework, these are precision instruments for permanent pattern disruption.
The core clinical axis

Suppression versus transformation.

The fundamental distinction that separates Family Mycology™ from conventional therapeutic approaches is the difference between suppressing a pattern and transforming it. Suppression manages the symptom and leaves the root intact. Transformation composts the pattern entirely and returns its energy to the system as capacity.

This is the clinical logic of fungal decomposition: the mycelium does not fight what is dying. It accelerates the metabolic process through which what has served its purpose becomes nutrition for what is emerging. This is the model for healing generational patterns in families.

Suppression
Manages the symptom. The pattern remains intact beneath the coping strategy, available to resurface under stress or to transmit to the next generation.
Transformation
Composts the pattern at the root. The energy bound in the distortion is released and returned to the system as coherence, capacity, and available life force.

Nature of Services

All programs, courses, sessions, and content offered through this site — including The Field Between Us, Mother as Medicine™, the Family Field Map™, and all associated materials — are educational, coaching, and personal development offerings. They do not constitute licensed psychotherapy, medical diagnosis, or mental health treatment, and are not a substitute for professional mental health care. Ashley Glowiak is a licensed therapist in the state of Colorado; however, participation in these programs does not establish a therapist-client relationship unless explicitly contracted as such.

Payment & Enrollment

All prices are listed in USD. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Intellectual Property

Enrollment in a program grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the materials for your own development. Participant Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

Transformation work — somatic, emotional, relational — can surface material that is activating or uncomfortable. You acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and take responsibility for your own experience, choices, and integration process. Ashley Glowiak and LIFE PMA are not liable for outcomes, decisions, or life changes that arise from your participation in any program or session.

Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

Any psychedelic-assisted therapy services are provided separately under Ashley Glowiak's Colorado natural medicine license and are governed by distinct agreements and informed consent documentation provided at that time. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer of or instruction for illegal substance use.

Confidentiality in Group Programs

Group program participants agree to hold in confidence all personal material shared by other participants within the container. What belongs to the field, stays in the field.
